I hadn't been to Trader Joe's in what seemed like forever so when I was there last week I really looked around to see what was new. As a result I discovered.....
This will become a staple in my pantry now. Last night I put it in w/ fire roasted tomatoes, red onions, tomato paste, olives, smidgen of sugar, & dash of red wine for a great chunky sauce to go w/ the turkey meatballs and pasta we had - I sprinkled a little feta on mine but G liked his better without. It gives things a little heat and some great texture. I think it would be great on salads and in soups as well. Or as a fun appetizer mixed w/ Roma tomatoes and parsley over toasted baguette pieces. Anywho I think the possibilities are endless on this little gem.
