His car counts as one......
And apparently our backyard visitor counts as two......
Our neighbor (who I like but is a little quirky) came over the other night because he had moles and it had eaten his favorite tomatoe plant. Keep in mind this man spends HOURS upon HOURS in his backyard working on his garden so he was very displeased with the whole thing. He wanted permission to come into our yard and dig a hole and plant something to scare the moles off. He had already planted them in his yard. What did he plant? I have absolutely no idea. I however went out onto the back porch when he and G were back there and did my best rendition of "I'm alright" from Caddysack. Neighbor didn't get it.....G laughed however.
As of last night however we are laughing no more. Neighbor got rid of them alright - they or he or she - who knows - is now in my yard. And destroying it........tunnel by tunnel......mound by mound. Sad thing is we already invested a lot of time and money to level and fix our backyard and it looked (if I do say so myself) very nice. Neighbors yard is just a flurry of different flower/vegetable beds with pile so crap everywhere. Our nice lawn.......gone.......
When G gets mad he swears and they aren't nice swear words. And boy did the words come flying out of his mouth last night. He was loud and didn't care. This from a man who never talks like this ever. I however told him to pipe down everyone could hear him. It is a nice little string of words dealing with the women who have children and the use of a mouth. It all rhymes and is musical in some respects but truly nothing anyone wants hear. I'm sure the neighbors thought we were such a lovely couple before this. Need to make sure this doesn't happen........
This is how I see it. It's grass....its a lawn......yes it will cost money to fix. But hey in the big scheme of things this is small. And G's car being wrecked worked out ok in the long run and so will this. Could be worse.......could be the front lawn......
Wonder what three will be?
In other news....the stir fry Chix/Broc was lovely. I marinated the chicken before hand and added a little sherry ginger at the end.....
